The 2nd year of the 2016 Tuff Kid challenge was held on Friday 9th December at the Albert Park grounds in Te Awamutu
A large number of contestants ranging from Year 1-8 participated in the obstacle course over the whole venue.
Parents and volunteers helped with marshalling each activity while the children enjoyed both the individual and team events.
We were lucky enough to have over 20 obstacles that were donated or erected by the businesses of Te Awamutu and the staff of the Te Awamutu Rugby Sports and Recreation Club.
Program Facilitator, Ollie Ward said that the event was a huge hit for the community and the children of Te Awamutu and the outlining areas and is looking forward to a bigger and better event in 2017.
Most popular were the mud pits as well as the climbing walls.Â
