Established in 1995, the TA Sports Boxing Club has had numerous success over the years in regional and North Island titles but year 2006 capped off a lot of hard work by the boxer and coaches of the club when Zig-Zag Wallace became NZ Senior Open Light Heavyweight Champion.

Head Coach of the club is Don Whalley who is a Level 2 NZ Boxing Inc.Coach. Don is assisted by Marquis Morris, Level 1 Boxing NZ Inc.Coach. Assisting them is Dr. Raymond Richards, Probationary Level 1 NZ Boxing Inc. Coach.

Training times are as follows:
Monday - Thursday 6.30pm - 8pm
