Young Aryk Whalley performed extremely well in all his fights over last year. Always an enthusiastic and energetic competitor in the ring, Aryk picked up the Central North Island Championship novice title in 2003. Aryk was awarded Te Awamutu Sports Most Improved Boxer 2003 and also received the trophy for the Most Wins 2003 |

Zig-Zag Wallace had a tremendous first year in the seniors. At just 18 years of age, he was awarded Waikato’s Most Scientific Boxer at the Waikato Championships. He was named the Te Awamutu Sports Boxer of the Year 2003, awarded the Gundesen Belt by the Waikato Boxing Association and named Waikato Boxer of the year 2003. |
